The tournament is named after the late Roberto Clemente; Carbone is currently organizing the second Clemente Cup to open his 2020 season.

When hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico on September 20, plunging all of its 3.4 million residents into a desperate humanitarian crisis, Carbone began fundraising efforts to help aid in emergency relief. He was key in raising $1000’s of dollars that went directly to relief efforts. He and Rivera have been to PR three times in the last 9 months to personally deliver goods and offer their service to the most devastated areas.
